1:18 WAU 2024 Adelaide 500 Mostert Mustang Exclusive Edition Launched - Available 10am AWST Thursday

Chaz Mostert’s 2024 Supercars Championship campaign in the #25 Mobil 1 Optus Racing Ford Mustang GT was a competitive season which saw the star driver combine race-winning speed with consistent front-running form across the year.
Emerging as the leading Ford driver, Mostert secured multiple race wins and a strong collection of podium finishes on his way to 3rd in the championship. Key moments included a breakthrough victory at Perth - marking the first win for Walkinshaw Andretti United in the Ford era - and a commanding clean sweep at the Sydney SuperNight.
The season also saw a striking visual evolution of the #25 Mustang. Beginning the year in a predominantly white Mobil 1 Optus Racing livery, the team introduced a bold black design at the Sydney round, featuring gold Mobil 1 branding on the bonnet and striping. The look proved an instant success - both in performance and fan reception - leading to the black livery being retained for the remainder of the season and becoming one of the most recognisable appearances on the 2024 grid.
As the season concluded on the streets of Adelaide, Mostert delivered a fierce final race performance, going head-to-head with Broc Feeney in a thrilling battle at the front of the field. With both drivers starting from the front row, Mostert took the lead early and carried it into pit lane for the opening stops. In the fight to maintain track position, Feeney was handed a 15-second time penalty for an unsafe release following contact with Mostert at pit exit. The chaos didn’t end there. The pair continued their intense duel on track, which ultimately saw Feeney force a move that sent a defending Mostert into the fence - resulting in a second 15-second penalty and dropping him out of podium contention. Despite the setback, Mostert recovered strongly to finish 2nd behind Will Brown, who secured his maiden championship victory.
The intensity of this battle not only capped off the 2024 season in dramatic fashion, but also set the foundation for a defining rivalry into 2025 - especially in the finals where Mostert would ultimately go on to claim the championship in another remarkable battle between the WAU and Red Bull Ampol Racing drivers at the Adelaide finale.
