Pre-Order Alert: Shell V-Power Racing Team Scott McLaughlin 2020 Champion + 3-Peat Complete Prints
Authentic Collectables are extremely proud to present three new exclusive limited edition illustrated prints by acclaimed illustrator/designer Tristan Groves celebrating Scott McLaughlin's 2020 Championship and historic 3-Peat for Shell V-Power Racing Team which are now available to pre-order.
McLaughlin's 2020 win sealed a '3-Peat' of consecutive driver's championships for both him and the team in what is the 10th drivers championship for DJR/DJR Team Penske in the 40th Anniversary for the team. In claiming such a historic milestone, McLaughlin became the 1st Ford driver to win three straight championships since Ian Geoghegan won four in a row from 1966-1969 and only the 4th driver in history to claim the feat, joining Mark Skaife, Jamie Whincup and Geoghegan in the record books, firmly establishing the young Kiwi as one of the best drivers in ATCC / Supercars championship history.
As we have done previously to celebrate McLaughlin's 2018 and 2019 championships, we have produced two editions celebrating his 2020 win to compliment the previously released illustrated championship editions. This artwork mirrors some characteristics of the 2018 edition print so it completes the set of three perfectly for those who have purchased those editions from previous years. The standard edition (white background) will be limited to 250 copies while the variant edition (yellow background) will be limited to only 100 copies and both feature McLaughlin celebrating with 3 fingers raised as a nod to claiming the three-peat along with his 2020 Ford Mustang GT.
Also available is a special '3-Peat Complete' edition which captures the historic milestone and features McLaughlin along with his championship winning cars from the 2018 Ford FGX Falcon along with his 2019 and 2020 Ford Mustang GT's. This edition will feature a Pantone Silver Metallic Ink for an extra special finish and will be limited to only 350 copies.
