A significant piece of Ford and Australian motorsport history has arrived at Authentic Collectables, with our 1:12 scale Ford Performance #17 Ford Mustang GT Gen3 Supercar released in extremely limited numbers.
Unveiled at the 2022 Bathurst 1000, the new Mustang marked the beginning of Ford’s Gen3 Supercars era. Wearing a striking white and blue Ford Performance launch livery and the iconic #17, it was fittingly Ford legend Dick Johnson who took the wheel for the car’s first public laps around Mount Panorama.
The occasion carried even greater significance given Johnson’s extraordinary history at Bathurst, with the Australian motorsport legend indicating at the time that it would likely be his final drive of a Supercar around the famous circuit.
We’ve recreated this memorable Mustang in an impressive 1:12 scale, produced in high-quality sealed body resin with clear windows and a detailed interior. Its large scale gives the model a commanding presence and provides collectors with a unique way to celebrate an important moment in Ford, DJR and Supercars history.
